OPPO Find X10 Experience Focuses on AI Comfort and Smart Features

OPPO opened its yearly developer event, ODC26, in Zhuhai this week. The company used the stage to show off its new Find X10 phone and its updated ColorOS software. As we know, OPPO has pushed hard into AI-powered phones for several years, so this launch is drawing attention from the industry.

Most AI phones have the same flaw tho. Their smart tools are either buried too deep inside menus, or they pop up too often and annoy the user. Screen scanning, auto-summaries, and photo editing are common features today. But few phones make these tools feel natural during daily use which can be annoying to a normal person. But Oppo says that this will be different, and while looking into new info about the Find X10, i found some early tests that support this. These tests come from iFanR from Weibo.

After two weeks of hands-on testing ahead of launch (which was performed by iFanR), the built-in AI assistant, named Xiaobu, stands out to them most. It will build a memory of small daily habits. Tell it something once, and it stores that detail for later. Over time, these small notes grow into a longer memory that shapes how the phone responds to you.

Here is one example from their testing. Walk past a bubble tea shop after work a few times, and the phone's floating card system offers to order your usual drink. You do not need to open an app or type a request. The phone predicts the need based on habits it has already learned from you.

Still tho, two weeks is a short window for judging a feature built around long-term memory, so how well this holds up over months of daily use is not yet fully proven, and we will have to wait for a public test to really determine if all of this will be as good as they say.

Camera output also stood out during testing. OPPO continues to work with Hasselblad on color tuning, and photos come out looking natural rather than overly sharpened or artificial, is what the tester says.

But just so you know. This review comes from an early test closely arranged with OPPO ahead of the wider public launch. It cannot fully replace independent testing once the phone reaches everyday buyers with different daily routines, habits and uses for these new features.

The Find X10 is expected to launch alongside ColorOS 17 later this year. Whether the AI memory system performs as well outside a short test remains just a question.
