Konka are launching 2 versions of their
Konka K5, the top of the range model boasting a powerful
quad-core processor and
fingerprint scanner.
Chinese electronics maker
Konka have 2 versions of the K5 ready to go
on sale later this month. The base model of the
Konka K5 will feature 1GB
RAM, 4GB memory and a 1.2Ghz
quad-core MT6589, while the flagship “Van Gogh” model has
2GB RAM, 32GB memory and more powerful 1.5Ghz MT6589T chipset.
In addition to the more powerful hardware the K5 Van Gogh also features a
fingerprint scanner built-in to the home button as an added
security feature.
Konka have also
updated there MUSE UI to offer a new guest mode too along with the option to lock individual apps.
Both versions for the K5 have a 4.8-inch 720p
Super Amoled display, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 1.3 mega-pixel front, 2200mAh battery and dual SIM support. The entry level version of the K5 will be priced at 1999 Yuan ($320) where as the top of the range version will go
on sale for 2699 Yuan ($441).
