Spice Mi-550 Pinnacle Stylus with 5.5 inch screen launched in India


Catering to the ever-growing demand for large screen phones or ‘phablets’, rising domestic smartphone vendor, Spice, today announced the Mi-550 Pinnacle Stylus, a phablet with a 5.5 inch screen and quad core processor.

Priced at 15,499 INR ($250), the device features a 720p 5.5 inch display, MT6589 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD slot for further expansion, an 8 mega-pixel rear camera and a 2 mega-pixel front camera. The phone will come with a 2500mAh battery and will feature 3G as well as dual SIM support.

The phone will come with a stylus, and is available for purchase at online retailer Saholic. Not long ago, Gionee launched their GPad G3, another device with a 5.5 inch screen and quad core processor. With this launch, the contest between low-cost quad core phablets is bound to intensify!
