ZTE’s
Nubia range of
phones will soon be headed up by the
Snapdragon 800 powered
Nubia Z5S if reports are revealed to be accurate.
On Sina’s Weibo microblogging platform Nubia’s General Manager Ni Fei posted the above
photo of a rather messy meeting room table and new Nubia
phone. Rather than being a larger
Nubia Z7 device, the model in the
photo appears to be an update of the current flagship
phone which will be
launched as the
Nubia Z5S.
’S’ Standing for ‘speed’ the Z5S will get a faster
quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, version MSM8974AB clocked at 2.3Ghz to be precise, an Adreno 330
GPU and also support for
TD-LTE and FDD-LTE.
As it is based on the current Z5 the
Nubia Z5S will also have a 5-inch
1080 display and probably
13 mega-pixel camera.
