I received my Inew V3 today. First impression: Nice looking phone and display is brighter and much much better than my UMI X1.The display is as good as my son’s OPPO 5 – even with lower resolution!
I could not test OTG – no cable.
I didn’t test NFC. So not sure if it works.
GPS seems to work – much stronger signal compered to UMI X1 (with modified GPS antenae).
I have not tested Gesture functions.
I bought it from SpeMall and the phone comes with SCREEN GUARD installed plus a spare in the box.
Overall, the phone is GREAT.
It light and slim and definitely looks better than my son’s OPPO 5. It doesn’t feels cheap either.

but is the body really 6.5mm?? is the back flat and all parts have the same 6.5mm thickness? or the back is curved and is thicker in the middle (as thick as 8 mm)?

Its only 6.5mm at the edge and about 8mm all round after the edge. Its just like a piece of 6.5 mm material with a <1mm on top and bottom.For example a piece of material 140mmX70mmX6.5mm. Now stick a 139mmX69mmX1mm on top and bottom. The top would be the display and the bottom would be the back cover. All my dimensions is not actual measurements. I hope i have explain it good enough.
But, the phone does feels "slim" and not bulky or chunky compared to the OPPO 5.
Please tell us about your experience with the battery , how long does it last working on full capacity ? Or working on normal mode . Thank you in advance .

Please note: My phone is somehow “different”- according to Antutu test its a V3-E and rear camera is 18.2M and f2.2! (4928×3696) and score 16900. I took a picture and can verify by looking at the picture details, it is in fact 4928×3696 pixels. I wrote to Inew and asked the difference between V3-E and V3. No answer yet.

Rear camera is as good as my Oppo 5. Oppo camera software is better, otherwise I can’t tell the difference when shooting a normal picture. The Oppo 5 focusing is faster.
On a full charge it easyily last a day (8 to 10 hrs) of normal use. But, I am a low user – like two calls and an hr or two of internet etc. Overnight (8hrs) without any usage, it looses 6%
There is micro SD slot for expandable memory.
Two SIMs, primary is normal size and the other microSIM.
WiFI is much better compared to UMI X1 – about 20db more signai -using WiFi analyzer Apps.
GPS works even indoor – near windows.

i have bought inew v3 in 1949deal,and also i have got it , all is ok ,now i am testing the otg of the phone !!! and i also have a problem , i bought the phone with 181.99 with one battery, but now people can buy it,with 182.00 with two batterys in 1949deal!!! This makes me feel very unhappy！！！

on inew site, they say that inew v3 supports OTG, but on a video on youtube, site to2c.com shows that OTG doesnt work.
did someone check it again, for real?
the first 1000 units haven’t the function OTG but now is avaible
three points :
1) it doesn’t have OTG! what advertizement says is fake
2) it’s NOT super slim 6.5mm phone, as youtube reviewers measured it , it is 7.9 mm thick. so thats not as thin as you imagined , it is actually thicker than samsung galaxy s 3!
3) these two points makes me don’t believe in other specs! the led motion and air gesture i guess wont work either…

yea it is curved but in the pictures that they’ve compared it to iphone and ipad mini, it has a flat back and they are showing off their 6.5mm phone vs 7.1 mm ipad mini! so that’s a big lie !

Mine is V3-E and no NFC, OTG or gesture control. My V3-E rear camera is 18.2M f2.2 ! Mine is not the same as the advertises specification. WiFi sometimes switches off. I think I must have an early model or firmware. Contacted SpeMall and Inew for information to solve my problem. So far no news yet.
