Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 and Pop 8 tablets announced at CES


Alcatel are making waves at CES, first they launched the octacore Onetouch Idol X+, now they have a pair of cool looking Android tablets to choose from.

As the name suggests the Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7 is a 7-inch display while the Pop 8 is the big brother at 8-inch. Both tablets have the look of an iPad mini about them are and powered by 1.3Ghz (although core numbers aren’t the same) and bet 1GB RAM.

At €149 the 7-inch Onetouch Pop 7 is the cheapest tablet and features a 1024 x 600 display, dual-core processor, 4GB internal memory, micro SD card slot and rear 2 mega-pixel camera. The Pop 8 costs slightly more at €199 for which you get a higher resolution 1280 x 800 display and more powerful quad-core processor.

    rip off prices, the 8″ is about the same price as the nexus 7. They won’t be selling many of these.
