OPPO Find 5 Mini with 4.7″ screen launched in Indonesia

Rising at a brisk pace on the international arena, China’s OPPO announced the OPPO Find 5 Mini in Indonesia recently.

The OPPO Find 5 Mini is believed to be the OPPO R827T, about which we reported a few weeks back. The Find 5 Mini comes with a 4.7-inch screen with a 960 x 540p resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. It comes with a 2000mAh battery packed inside a 7.7mm thick body. The phone features an 8 mega-pixel f/2.0 rear camera, along with a 2 mega-pixel front. The device gets OPPO’s take on Android, i.e., ColorOS which is based on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean.

OPPO Find 5 Mini with 4.7" screen launched in Indonesia

Quite clearly there’s nothing special about the Find 5 Mini, at least when it comes to specifications. OPPO would hope to bank on the flagship and full-sized Find 5’s popularity while hoping the mini version does well. The OPPO Find 5 Mini gets an Rp 3.699.000 ($303) price tag in Indonesia.

I have a quite terrible experience with the original Find 5 16 GB (I bought it under warranty by Oppo Electronics Indonesia), but not with the hardware and build quality as they are crafted well enough, but with the software created by Oppo itself (which is the Chinese made ColorOS), if you follow the discussions about this in official Oppo Forums you will understand what I meant.

I bought this oppo find 5 mini a moment ago, and i think it’s worth it. You can tell that the qHD resolution and MT6582 processor maybe over price, but just look at it’s camera. It really awesome since it’s had F.20 big aperture and Back illuminated CMOS 2nd Generation by Sony. It deliver just an outstanding image quality. No question why it had high price tag.
