The Cubot X6 is an octacore dual SIM phone for less than $200

March is almost upon us and as the 3rd month in the year begins phone maker Cubot is preparing to launch the Cubot X6 octacore, dual SIM phone.

Octacore phones have flooded the market very quickly and we are already seeing prices creep lower and lower. Phone maker Cubot is gearing up to attack on a lower price point with their sub $200 Cubot X6 dual sim phone.

The X6, seen in this hands-on by GizChina.es, is a 5-inch HD phone with OGS display, 1.7Ghz MT6592 chipset. The phone also boasts 1GB RAM, 16GB memory, SD card memory slot, dual sim (GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 850/2100MHz) and 8 mega-pixel main camera.

The exact date of launch hasn’t been set yet, but our sources say the Cubot X6 will be available to order from around the middle of March. More specification details of the Cubot X6 available via the source link.

    design and camera is not good, cubot please make phone like inew v3 and you will have buyers

    They can shove it up their asses as far as I am concerned. I have gt99 and gps is disappointing. Camera is awful. I doubt that this one will be any better.

    I wonder, would 1gb of RAM be a bottleneck for the MT6592 CPU?
    Would be a shame to have a fast cpu when the ram makes it lag.
