GooPhone jumps the guns with a dual sim HTC M8 clone

The leaders in clone tech (if that can be seen as a compliment), GooPhone, are back again now with an all new HTC M8 clone!

Clone maker GooPhone have jumped the gun once again and have announced their knock off version of the HTC M8 before the M8 has actually been given an official launch!

Really the GooPhone M8 could be described as a clone of the current HTC One, but the use of the M8 name suggests GooPhone wan’t this creation tagged to the all new HTC One. Specifications listed on the official GooPhone store don’t give us the full low-down, is the body alloy for example, but it does gloss over some of the inners.

Gizchina News of the week

As expected the GooPhone M8 has a 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore processor, a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display and runs Android 4.2 (just as all current Mediatek phones are). Other details include 1GB RAM, 16GB memory, micro SD expansion, dual SIM, 5 mega-pixel front camera and 13MP rear.

The GooPhone M8 is currently listed as in stock (whether it is or not we don’t know) and can be yours for just $229.99!

Thanks for GizChina Facebook fan Igor for the tip!

The material is plastic and the screen is described as “quite sensitive”. LOL

I don’t understand why you would want an 8 core with only 1GB ram?
