Wickedleak’s waterproof Wammy Passion X gets its price slashed to Rs. 18,500

Wickedleak’s first ever octa-core smartphone, the Wammy Passion X that was launched two weeks back in India with a price tag of Rs. 22,499 just got a price cut, and is now a sweeter deal at just Rs. 18,500.

The initial price tag meant that the device was among the more expensive octa-core smartphones in the country, which hardly gave buyers any reason to opt it over biggies like the Micromax Canvas Knight and Intex Aqua Octa. Now that the price is slashed by a good Rs. 4,000, we’re assuming potential buyers would consider the Wammy Passion X as a more serious contender.

We have slashed the price of Wammy Passion X from Rs 22,500/- to 18,500/- for our valuable customers on the occasion of Holi. We hope this would make the festival even more colourful and help connect with our customers in a better way. Our customers need not worry about their gadget getting spoilt as AquaProtect will safeguard it.

We think it is quite a smart move from Wickedleak to announce a price drop right before the festival of Holi. Water and Holi go hand-in-hand, which is why we think it makes sense to have your waterproof smartphone in the headlines again.

It is however not clear yet if the price drop is temporary or here to stay.
