JiaYu’s largest smartphone to date, the 5.7-inch JiaYu G6, has turned up new renders on the official JiaYu forums earlier today.

The JiaYu G6 is modeled on the Huawei Ascend P6 range of phones with flat sides and rounded upper and lower sections which curve over the upper and lower section of the phone to meet the rear. From the renders the JiaYu G6 looks like it will get some stainless steel in the bod and we can see what looks lie connectors for a charger on the back and dual external rear speakers.

Gizchina News of the week

A 5.7-inch FHD 1080p OGS display make the JiaYu G6 the largest phone to date, but like the JiaYu S2 the designers have done a good job at keeping the physical size to a minimum with the official measurements listed as 156 x 79 x 8mm.

NFC a large 3500mAh battery and octacore Mediatek processor make up the rest of the specification details for now.

    Hey Andi,

When do you think this would go on sale?

Wife accidently trashed her phone so I have to upgrade ASAP.

I am considering the Zopo ZP998 but it seems that initially it was buggy and they had to release a firmware update.

Are you aware of if all problems have been solved with the Zopo ZP998?

What current Octa Core thats been sold matches the Zopo Zp998 perfectly in terms of specifications up to and including wcdma bands?

Any assistance is appreciated as I have to make a purchase of two smartphones very soon! Like yesterday!
