After updated the specs of the Oneplus One to Snapdragon 801 last night, today OnePlus have announced the phone will launch on 23rd April !
Carl Pei, Director at OnePlus, posted on the OnePlus forums that the OnePlus smartphone will be launched on the 23rd April.

We expect further details about the launch to be announced soon, all we know now is the OnePlus One will be launched in Beijing, and we plan to be there!
The OnePlus one will feature a Snapdragon 801 processor, 5.5-inch 1080p display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, 3100mAh battery and replaceable rear covers and will cost below $400.

It will sell before june. Just after launch or may at latest 🙂
I’m wondering about this too. Will they start selling at launch? The Galaxy S5 (another Snapdragon 801-based phone) will start selling on April 11, so let’s hope the OPO won’t be too far off. For less than 400 bucks though, it seems to be a better value than anything Samsung can come up with.

Wow, that’s sooner than I expected. I “expect” the 16 GB version to be available at under 400 USD(cause it’s been announced) but I hope the 64 GB version won’t cost a lot more than 400 USD. Have the people at One plus already said if the One will support a micro SD slot?
It seems there’re ready for a launch event now. There’s a decided lack of any promise to ship on the 23rd, and considering their penchant for marketing hype, I would be surprised if they do ship in April… haha, at least without some additional teaser before the launch party. 😉
