Update: iOcean release more photos of the beautiful iOcean X8

More photos if the 5.7-inch iOcean X8 octacore phablet release, along with more details of the specification.

Last night we were surprised to learn that iOcean would only be launching the iOcean X8 to customers outside of China. This is a real change from the norm which has Chinese customers served first and international customers left waiting for months for resellers so get their hands on a new device.

iOcean haven’t given us a firm launch date or pricing, but they did send over more photos if the X8 along with a few more details.

What is confirmed is that the iOCean X8 will have Corning Gorilla Glass both on the rear of the phone and across the 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 display. the display is an iPS, OGS model which not only reduced the thickness of the screen but also improve the quality of the image when viewed at extreme angles.

Other details include 2 GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera and 13 mega-pixel 14 mega-pixel rear camera. We cannot wait to get our hands on this flagship Mediatek phone, could this really be the best iOcean device yet?

iOcean have also just started their own official Facbook page, and will release news and details of all of their phones on their as well as keeping us updated.

    What is the battery capacity for this phone Andi? I believe it has the 2.0GHz MT6592 SoC, right Andi?
