TCL will officially release their Xiaomi Redmi Note killler today with slighty higher specs and lower price tag!
The Xiaomi Redmi Note launched as Xiaomi’s first phablet device and has generally been well accepted for it’s high specification and low-price. If there is one area people have complained about though, it is the design of the Redmi Note.
You might say that at these prices we should forgive the Redmi Note for been a big chucky device, but how is it that TCL have managed a similar spec, larger battery and thinner body on their new phone?
The new TCL Note or “Meme da”features a 5.5-inch 720 display, 1GB RAM, octacore processor, 8GB internal memory, and a larger 3300mAh battery in a body measuring just 7.95mm. TCL have also given the Meme Da pretty amazing camera hardware, an 8 mega-pixel front takes care of selfies while the rear is a 13 mega-pixel sensor with F2.0 aperture and macro mode auto focus.
The Meme Da will go on sale today at 10am for only 778 Yuan in China through electronics seller Suning. Currently the phone only supports China Mobile TD-SCDMA, keep you fingers crossed for a WCDMA model.
