Zopo ZP1000 turns up on Zoposhop with full specs, costs $269.99

Zopo’s first foray in to the slim phone market begin’s very soon with the launch of their octacore Zopo ZP1000 with 7.2mm thin body.

The Zopo ZP1000 has appeared in numerous leaks over the past few weeks, however today the guy’s over at CMM noticed that the ZP1000 had officially been listed over on the Zoposhop online store.

Zoposhop have listed the Zopo ZP1000 as available for pre-order and attached a $269.99 retail price to the 7.2mm bodied phone. Features of the ZP1000 include a 5-inch 1280 x 720 display, 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore processor, 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory.

The official listing also mentions a few surprises such as a plastic body rather than an alloy body, the aforementioned 1GB RAM and an no mention of a hexacore 6-core processor option. Preorders of the Zopo Zp1000 have already started and the phones should ship from Mid April. Is the latest Zopo phone something that you would consider buying?

        $270 for zopo and $300 for idol is not too far away from each other, but you get twice everything.
        umi x3 is even better choice. in every way in price/quality relation.

    For that price you can get other smartphones with specs miles ahead of this.

    Zopo wants to be a premium brand with cheap hardware, ala Apple.

    Epic fail.

    Particularly any smartphone running Mediatek crap isn’t in my basket list as long as it runs an outdated OS and can’t release the drivers needed to help devs update those.

    compared with the 998: smaller battery 2400>2100 mah one half inch less, resolution reduced from 1080 to 720, RAM from 2Gb to 1Gb.
    It is more slim than the 998.
