The park is not located in Jinshan; it’s going to be built in Haidian, the Silicon Alley / Valley of Beijing. Jinshan is the Chinese name of Kingsoft, the other company that’s sharing the development costs and headquartering in the park. Kingsoft was Lei Jun’s previous gig (though he’s still involved) as investor and guru before starting Xiaomi.
