Octacore JiaYu G4S officially on sale from 14th April

jiayu g4 octacore

The already great JiaYu G4 is set to get a whole lot better and much more value packed as the octacore model will go on sale on 14th April.

JiaYu will launch 2 models of the JiaYu G4s, but it is the top of the range JiaYu G4S with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is going to sit at the top of our shopping list.

Last year we reviewed the original JiaYu G4 with the same 4.7-inch 720p display, 13 mega-pixel main camera, and 3000mAh battery, but the older, and slower quad-core MT6589T SoC. The JiaYu G4S has the newer octacore MT6592 processor running at a faster 1.7Ghz clock speed and an improved Mali 450 GPU.

Gizchina News of the week

We are waiting to hear what the international price of the octacore JiaYu G4S will be, but we guesstimate $200 will be what most resellers will be asking for.

If you are from Europe (European union countries) and you don t want to pay any taxes, just order it from aliexpress with sweden post (or also suisse post). Only with this two post options you will not pay any taxes.

No taxes for over 10 phones so far! The packet is too small and the price on the box is 25$ so no taxes.

Hey everyone, thanks for your input. I bit the bullet and ordered last night. SpeMall say they will ship it on Monday. Can’t wait. Sure it’s fatter than a LOT of the newer phones, but I think it’s a great design and high quality manufacture 🙂

On offciial site support only 2100 3G, on Spemall shop they wrote 900/2100?

    • mersault
      April 10, 2014

Few days ago I specificaly asked spemall if their information about 3G 900MHz frequency is correct. They supposedly checked with Jiayu, which confirmed that…I hope it’s true, because other sites (like ejiayu) don’t have that frequency
