7-inch, 4G LTE Huawei Honor X1 will launch 22nd April

Next week is certainly one to mark in your calendars, ZTE, Xiaomi and OnePlus will launch new device and now even Huawei enter the fold with the LTE Huawei Honor X1!

Huawei’s Honor range has been the brands saving grace for 2014. The Honor 3C and 3X have both proven that it’s not only Xiaomi who can produce high quality smartphones at a low price, now the new X1 aims to stepping things up a notch.

The Huawei Honor X1 will be the top of the range Honor model and as such packs top of the range features such as a 7-inch FHD 1080 display, 1.6Ghz Kirin 910 processor, 2GB RAM,DTS sounds, 13 mega-pixel main camera and options for either 3G or 4G.

Pricing is expected to start at just 1799 Yuan for the WCDMA 3G model rising slightly to 1999 Yuan for the LTE model.

    Depends. For people using a 5.5+ inch phone, the 7inch would be meaningless as a tablet but meaningful as a big phablet. For those with 4.7″ and lower phone, a 7inch is good enough as a tablet.

      Hmmm… depends on people, less than 8″ is small for me, more than 9″ too big 😉 My phone is 5″ and I wouldn’t buy stuff like this. But… I’ll recommend my wife.

      Removable battery that works, but after the debacle with the mediapad’s battery, I wouldn’t touch it.
