With OnePlus launching the phenomenal OnePlus One just days ago, Xiaomi have course for concern, but just for how long?

This purported screen shot is alleged to have come from Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphone. From the image, taken from the system settings in MIUI, we can see that the Mi3S is running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, has 3GB RAM and a 2.5Ghz processor (possibly the same Snapdragon 801 AC as found in the OPO).

Gizchina News of the week

Xiaomi have hinted on their social networks that the Mi3S is on the way, but as of their most recent launch on the 23rd April nothing has been made official just yet.

In other rumours the Xiaomi Mi3S is said to get 4G LTE, an 8 mega-pixel front facing camera and possibly even an all new design with narrow bezels.

lol. I remember watching the video of the Mi3 release online, where when after all the spec talk they finally released the image of the phone for first time and Lei Jun was bragging about its great looks, there was on the contrary a sudden weird silence in the crowd like nobody was buying that brag about its looks.

But anyway i have seen people who like how the Mi3 looks, so at times beauty depends on eye of beholder.

I hope whoever designed this version of Mi3 is not the CEO or whoever did Mi3 then.

Agree. I love shape and size of Mi2/Mi2s. Size was one of the major reasons why i chose a Xiaomi Mobile.

Mi3 was the worst design i could possibly imagine. I hope they bring back good specs phone in pocket-able sizes and with narrow bezels
