Meizu MX4 will likely receive the updated Exynos 5430 LTE Octacore

Meizu could be sticking to their guns and extending their partnership with Samsung to cover the processors that will power the flagship Meizu MX4 later this year.

Meizu and Samsung have a long history of cooperation with Samsung processors powering every Android Meizu phone the company has put out over the years, but with the need for an LTE solution there was speculation the Meizu MX4 could ship with a Qualcomm unit. New details surrounding Samsung and their next generation Exynos 5430 might mean a move to Qualcomm could be off the cards after all.

Gizchina News of the week

Apparently the next iteration of the octacore Exynos processor from Samsung will be touch enough to run a 2K (2560 x 1440) display, get all important LTE support, and be capable of handling 4K video playback. The new Samsung Exynos 5430 will likely see light in the a more powerful version of the the Galaxy S5 before seeing duty in the Meizu MX4.

No, I don’t think so and the G3 will be available at end june (confirmed by LG) and I don’t think the MX4 will be available anytime soon.

I don’t mind waiting until August, just wondering how it will compare with the LG G3 (I’m guessing it will be cheaper).

But it won’t have Dual SIM, like most of Meizus Phones…. Too bad. That excludes it for me.
