China Mobiles monopoly in China means that phone companies in China are forced to launch their latest devices on TD-SCDMA 3G first, bad news for anyone outside of China who requires a WCDMA 3G phone. Companies are getting faster at rolling out WCDMA models of their phones though and even the Redmi Note phablet can be bought online internationally now.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note is the big brother of the original Redmi with larger 5.5-inch 720p display, powerful octacore processor, and up to 2GB RAM. The Note also has a huge 3200mAh battery, 5 mega-pixel front camera and 13 mega-pixel rear.

Hi there, I am hesitating between those 2 phones: Xioami Hongmi 1S and Jiayu G4S. Which one should I buy? I know that 1S has 1GB of RAM and the Jiayu G4S has 2GB. I heard that 1S has better GPS and sound quality comparing to the Jiayu. Moreover, there are more updates coming for the 1S than the Jiayu, like system updates and fixings. I am looking for a great quality phone and don’t want to struggle with it. Thanks!

Hi Yash, thank you for your message! I don’t think that I will wait for your test because I need to buy a phone pretty soon and it is becoming really hard to wait for the ideal device. First, I wanted to buy MI2S but its price with shipping is expensive. Then I moved to the Jiayu G4S as a second choice and realized that people who ordered the phone seem to have some issues with it. Jiayu is for sure faster comparing to the 1S but it comes to me (after the reviews I have seen around about the Red Rice) that the 1S is great quality phone with decent specs. Plus 1S will have a community and frequent updates releases in coming months. I am not forgetting the accessories. Thanks for those who replied to my initial message.
If you wanna a good-quality phone, choose Xiaomi 1S, and wanna fast speed, play heavy game but failed maybe sometimes, choose Jiayu G4S. Anyway, it depends on your need~~
