After
news that
Lenovo have planning to tackle
Xiaomi with their own sub brand, the mystery Lenovo K30-T turns up at
TENAA HQ.
We know that
Lenovo are planning to take on the mighty
Xiaomi with their own rival sub brand, but what we don’t know is if they plan to do that under an entirely new brand or under a new range phone
phones (like the Huawei Honor series). If Lenovo are heading down the former route then the K30-T, spotted a
TENAA , could be the first device.
Sporting a bright yellow body, the
Lenovo K30-T certainly has the
specs and are similar to what we have already seen in the
Xiaomi Redmi 1S with 720p display, 1.2Ghz processor, 1GB RAM and 8 mega-pixel rear camera. Of course these aren’t specs that are going to set the world alight, but for a low cost phone of under $100 then it could be a great deal.
Apparently the phone will come with
Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and will be available in black, gold and yellow. However, international buyers will want to keep a close eye on the
specs as the ’T’ in the model name suggests to us this will be a TD only model i.e only suitable for China Mobile networks.
