Elephone working on luxury ‘G’ series phone

Elephone hits headlines once again with news of yet another new phone to head up their range.

Elephone simply don’t know when to take a break! In the past week they have announced their P8 Pro, P5000, P6000 and now an all new phone to head up their ‘G’ range of phones.

Unlike most of the other recent launches from Elephone, this new thin design appears to be a completely unique design, proving that the company can make more than just clones of famous models.

This new phone features a slim, stylish design and is intended to be Elephone’s answer to the UMi Zero. From the renders the phone appears to have a 5-inch display with a similar home button to the Meizu’s help. The rear features a main camera and dual LED flash.

Gizchina News of the week

It is great to see Elephone create a unique design, but a quick look over their range shows a real mis-mash of phones, and designs. From one Elephone device to another there really is nothing to identify them as Elephone phones. In my opinion Elephone needs to forget about their clones and work on making more phones with a unique Elephone style, lets hope this new phone is the start of things to come.

This is brilliant, but how can they produce so many phones within such a short space of time ?

Wish it was reality, I guess i’ll keep wishing for the Xiaomi Mi4 FGG-LTE 64GB version to materialise soon, otherwise i’ll guess i’ll wait for the Nexus 5 (2015 model) this time next year.

And make a change in their name too. Maybe shorten it to Ele atleast, rather than mimic elephant.

I agree or go the route of ZTE (Nubia), OPPO (One Plus One) and Huawei (Honor) and create a “separate” brand name for this

Leeuwarden! My family comes from there. Good looking phone! I’m glad to be seeing this ‘premium cheapo’ market opening up, so we can get premium looks without spending truckloads of cash on processors, gpu etc.

elephone! Cant they just concetrate on getting ONE good phone released first! They set up a forum recently for feedback on what people want…just listen to the feedback and create 2 models which will suit most people to purchase, instead of releasing a load of sub-par quality junk from what ive heard full of glitches and bad cameras. IMO Just make the fingerprint scanner better and get a proper camera and removable battery !

I love the name, and the logo! I hope they don’t change it. Love the look of this phone too.. although I wouldn’t choose a phone purely for its looks.
