Teaser could mean Ubuntu Meizu heading to MWC

The Ubuntu train might be making its next stop at MWC suggests a teaser from Meizu.

Meizu might not be the first to release an Ubuntu phone, but they could very well be the next with a planned unveiling at MWC. So far nothing is confirmed, but a new teaser (along with plenty of earlier rumours) suggests that a new OS version for Meizu will be shown off at MWC in Barcelona next month.

The teaser, posted on the Meizu Facebook page, shows Meizu’s current OS options (Flyme and YunOS) follow by a ‘?’ and “MWC 2015”. Text posted with the image reads “What will be next?”.

Gizchina News of the week

As we already know that Canonical will be at the show and that they signed an agreement with Meizu we can only assume MWC will be where the first Ubuntu Meizu phone will be officially released.

There are still a lot of questions surrounding the launch such as which phone will receive Ubuntu and how much the phone will cost, but hopefully we don’t have long to wait.

Well, I think that 99% the ? in this teaser is Ubuntu OS.
I really wanna see what they plan also, and how they plan. I wonder also if our MX4’s will get have the option, if we want, to get Ubuntu instead of Flyme… that would be great, if it happens.

Might be for Ubuntu/Flyme but I doubt it is for YunOS, mate.
YunOS, at least for MX4, is already out but only for one type of MX4 (m460 if I’m not mistaken).
That’s what the screenshot means in my opinion = we already have Flyme, YunOS…. what will be next???… soon in MWC 2015.
