iOcean show off Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the iOcean X8 Mini

iOcean have posted a short comparison video showing the differences between the iOcean X8 mini running Kitkat and the new Android Lollipop update.

Android 5.0 Lollipop updates are rolling in thick and fast, and not to be left behind are Chinese phone maker iOcean. Interestingly it isn’t their newly released flagship which appears with Lollipop first but their previous iOcean X8 mini phone.

The iOcean X8 mini was the all glass and alloy little brother of the standard X8. It’s not clear if the phone in the video is the basic X8 mini or the X8 mini Pro, but at least it’s proof that Lollipop is making its way to the phone soon.

Gizchina News of the week

iOcean are not the only smartphone maker to be showing off Lollipop updates, Ulefone, Doogee and Elephone all have Lollipop updates in the works too, now we are just waiting on JiaYu and UMi.
