Elephone have finally put their Elephone P7000 flagship up for presale, revealing the price of this 3GB RAM device to be $229.99.
It has been a long time coming but Elephone’s first flagship device of 2015 has finally been listed for presale revealing the final retail price of the phone for the first time. Elephone first announced that they were working on the P7000 months back, so the wait has seemed like an eternity, but finally it is here and ready to be ordered.
To recap, the Elephone P7000 is a Mediatek flagship device aimed to compete with phones like the JiaYu S3 advanced, iOcean MT6752 Rock and Meizu M1 Note (when it finally gets an international release). Specifications include a 64bit Mediatek MT6752 chipset, 3GB RAM, integrated fingerprint scanner on the rear, LTE and 5.5-inch FHD display.
Gizchina News of the week
Compared to the rest of the flagship pack, Elephone have managed to get Sony to supply the rear 13 mega-pixel IMX214 camera, a 5 mega-pixel up front, and large 3450mAh battery. All of this sits inside a CNC machined alloy chassis.
The icing on the cake is that Elephone are shipping the Elephone P7000 with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Three colours are available including grey, silver and gold.
The official retail price of the Elephone P7000 is $229.99, but GizChina readers can save $5 and receive free international DHL shipping through Elephone.cc using the coupon code: FUNP7000.
We have asked for our review sample and hope it will arrive soon.
That is usually the big elephant-in-the-room question with them isn’t it? 😉
you don’t read ? elephone 7000 ( pioneer ) comes with 5 or 6 OS miui , android 5.0 pure , freemeOs , EMUI …
Do you think that we can trust Elephones specifications about battery capacity and kind of camera sensor?
I honestly dont fully trust any chinese brand that isn’t a major player on the local chinese market and does not have a taobao/tmall store. After all if they dont sell local, they won’t have to deal with complaining customers and warranty returns too much.
Being all the cheap chinese sensors are 13mp I’d say it definitely isnt a Sony sensor. If it was a Sony sensor they would have gone with 16mp.
I heared it’s Sony sensor, maybe we can hope Andi review it, then give us a reply.
The IMX214 is a 13mp unit and very good, if it was 16mp it would have been interpolated and that is not good.
it’s support FDD LTE Band 20, sorry for our mistake. it was updated on our website, enjoy buy it now with FREE DHL Shipping~
Leveraging at elephone.cc staff, could they tell me if the p7000 supports 850 Mhz band on WCDMA 3G?. Please 3G i dont ask for GSM 2G
Regards.
Hello, just want to know if ill get 3G/H+/4g/LTE on tmobile inthe U.S, thank you
i do not think so, sure you will be satisfied with our new Elephone p7000 if u used it!
Actually chinese upcoming brands can drastically increase their popularity if they keep in touch with their customer base and start giving some good service + work on delivering what the customers really want (=quality hardware and firmware, right from launch day) .
I have to say the p7000 is very good looking which also helps a lot. the only hurdle i see (coming from europe) is the price in combination with dhl shipping, it means we end up paying appx 275 us$ including import tax, and that is more than for example meizu m1 note or jiayu s3 from resellers with stock in europe. So the question here is, do you (elephone) think your phone is worth the extra money, and if so why 🙂
