Elephone are having another busy day, which looks like it will turn in to a busy week with more S2 promotion beginning and another P7000 flash sale on the way.
This morning the first Elephone P7000 flash sale took place. With over 160,000 people signed up for the sale it was always going to be a fast sell out with fans reporting the sale to be over in only a few minutes.
That’s bad news for the ELE code holders who wanted to get their hands on the $159.99 flagship in the first round of sales, but not the end of the world as another sale is scheduled for in just a few days time. Although not officially announced, Elephone plan to hold another sale on Wednesday the 13th May.

Elephone executed an extremely poor flash sale.
Thousands of registered potential customers got in immediately,
only to watch a ‘System Queueing’ message for over 30 minutes.
Many angry people, with what should have been as simple as an
email distribution system sending ‘codes’ to those registered.
Yes I was one of thse stuck for 30 mins with the System Queueing message. Don’t think I will have the option to participate in the Flash Sale now without an ELE code. Shame really as I was looking forward to trying this phone at this special price. Will wait for reviews now before buying at the higher price point.
They wont be able to sell p7000 for full price. The s2 looks nice, but worried that they making so many different models now. They should focus on getting mtk6795 on market with sony 20mpix.
Oh just give me solar on the back already ,even if there is little gain. Would rather have something useful than a shiny back, or LEDs or metal or curved glass and other pointless things that just inflate costs.
To all of you who feel “fucked”, did you honestly believe they would have 160.000 phones available ?
If I remember correctly Jiayu’s total 2014 sales was 300.000 units.
If the Jiayu S3 had a fingerprint scanner on it, i’d be buying one of those instead of trying to get an elephone p7000 :p

Elephone’s abysmal handling of their P7000 flashsale has lost me as a customer – now or in the future. Hint: The company’s customers MAY be stupid, but it is stupid to say so to their faces.
