I would be very wary of buying an unboxed phone. How many of these were returned due to defects and were they “refurbished”?
Most of these are (usually) review units sent out to the media… so they are different from refurbished units. Bigger companies (eg. Samsung) don’t sell ‘unboxed’ phones, they probably just get them refurbished as well. Xiaomi and OnePlus are probably the only ones that sell phones ‘unboxed’.
Very skeptical. Almost 25% off screams refurbished. If it was just an open box (or “unboxed” as they cleverly put it) such a large discount wouldn’t be needed to sell a phone that is already supposedly being sold at or near cost.
Actually an extremely quick check over a http://www.overcart.com reveals “Starts at Rs.16,999 in unboxed and refurbed”.
Also worth noting some of the phones they are selling “unboxed” only have 1/2 of the manufacturers warranty (6 months), not sure if that’s the case with the OnePlus.
this is good for purchase ?????????
