IPRO Sight Silver launched in Malaysia with MT6735

If you’re in Malaysia looking for a decent MT6735 phone (and not willing to import), the IPRO Sight Silver could be what you’ve been waiting for.

IPRO launched the phone earlier this week in Malaysia for 799 RM, or about US$210. The phone comes powered with the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor, and has a design very similar to the Elephone P7000.

Here’s the specifications of the phone: 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz quad-core MT6735 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable), 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, HotKnot support and a 2800mAh battery. And of course, the fingerprint sensor on the back right below the camera, Mate 7 style.

Gizchina News of the week

For a moment, I got very excited when I read MT6753, only to correct myself and realize it is the MT6735 instead.

Nonetheless, the IPRO Sight Silver should be a decent device if you don’t want to assume the risks that come with importing a phone from China. US$210 isn’t the best price for an MT6735 phone, but then domestic availability is the phone’s USP anyway.

Any takers?

Do not buy ipro sheet. All their phones are sheet from fake spec phone china OEM with buggy like sheet ROM and no updates no support. Touch screen is sheet and goes haywire while charging. This applies to ALL their phones.

Looks like a rebranded phone, but I couldn’t tell what Chinese model would it be 🙂
