Ecoo E06 specs and render, full metal body, Helio P10, and 21 mega-pixel camera

ecoo e06

The Ecoo E06 looks set to be quite a departure from what we normally see from the Chinese phone maker. Past Ecoo models have either been lower quality phones or designs verging on being a clone, but not any longer.

Sporting a full alloy body (not just the chassis) the Ecoo E06 is shaping up to be a feature packed smartphone. The render shows us a dual LED flash, fingerprint scanner and narrow body. The thickness hasn’t been confirmed but it is thin enough that the 21 mega-pixel rear sensor protrudes slightly from the rear.

Gizchina News of the week

A USB Type C plus sits between dual speakers in the base of the phone and up front we are shown a borderless screen design. Ecoo are adamant that the real device will feature a narrow border and claim a screen to body ratio of %80.

That display will be a 5.5-inch FHD 1920 x 1080 model and at the center of it all is a Helio P10 chipset running Android OS.

At this stage we don’t have a release date or a price, but I have a feeling the Ecoo E06 might make a surprising device at a launch.

Aaah, this time they copied the Huawei P8, nice move Ecoo.
Sick of these uninspired devices, like the Ulephone Paris and all of those Iphone Clones out there.

I would say it is closer to a Nubia crossed with an Oppo

Yep, Nubia Z9’s front. I doubt they will manage to make it bezel less like Z9 tho.

A phone is a phone, it will be somehow square shaped with a screen on the front and a camera on the back. How ever you look at it a phone will always bear resembles with something already produced. Why even be bothered about it, why not just take it for what it is, the big deal is rather if it looks good or not

Isn`t this very similar to the Elephone Vowney in basic spec.

Uh.. yes. Only a faster processor I guess. I don’t know about the battery and if they support NFC?
