OnePlus are hoping to make India one of the most important markets for the company. The country already accounted for 7% of total sales for the start-up last year, and this year India has contributed to over %40. To keep that growth on track a new low-cost OnePlus phones is set for launch with a retail price of between Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 ($180 – $300).
The idea is to launch the phone globally by the end of the year, but with a focus on improving sales in India. This might mean that Indian OnePlus fans could receive invites ahead of other global markets.
Also for the future of OnePlus is their own e-commerce site which will focus on sales of OnePlus devices, accessories and life-style goods.
At this point nothing is known about the mystery new OnePlus, but as soon as the leaks begin we will have the news first.
