Affordable OnePlus confirmed to by OnePlus India

In an interview with the Economic Indian Times, general manager of OnePlus India, Vikas Agarwal has confirmed a new low-cost OnePlus device is set to launch.

OnePlus are hoping to make India one of the most important markets for the company. The country already accounted for 7% of total sales for the start-up last year, and this year India has contributed to over %40. To keep that growth on track a new low-cost OnePlus phones is set for launch with a retail price of between Rs 12,000 to Rs 20,000 ($180 – $300).

The idea is to launch the phone globally by the end of the year, but with a focus on improving sales in India. This might mean that Indian OnePlus fans could receive invites ahead of other global markets.

Also for the future of OnePlus is their own e-commerce site which will focus on sales of OnePlus devices, accessories and life-style goods.

At this point nothing is known about the mystery new OnePlus, but as soon as the leaks begin we will have the news first.

    i remember when oneplus said “never settle” but i think this year they said saying settle with the so so camera no fast charging and now this would mean a lot more settlement not what they touted when the found the company
