OnePlus X Champagne Edition goes on sale in India

OnePlus X Champagne

The OnePlus X Champagne Edition is now on sale in yet another market — India.

The phone was initially only announced in China, and is now making its way into other markets.

This makes it the third colour variant to go on sale, with the other two being Onyx and Ceramic. We’ve reviewed the Onyx (black) version, while a hands-on with the Champagne edition has been posted.

The specs remain the same — there’s a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel rear camera and a 2525mAh battery, all in a 6.9mm slim frame.

The OnePlus X in its Champagne Edition is the same 16,999 as the Onyx variant in India.

In related news, the upcoming OnePlus 2 Mini just leaked via a Chinese regulatory authority with a design similar to the OnePlus X’s, while specifications remind us of the OnePlus 2.

Yash – I recently purchased a ONEPLUS X from Geekbuying; be aware that the ONEPLUS X has “Oxygen” issues with the support for SD cards. Check the ONEPLUS forums for details; in short, my ONEPLUS X doesn’t see the SD card at all. One other issue was they shipped my ONEPLUS with that back plastic film covering the back camera lens……so users might think their back camera isn’t working; not so, just remove the back plastic film covering and you are in business.
