Cubot show off the $79.99 2GB RAM Cubot Note S in hands on video


For those of you looking to buy in to a sub $100 smartphone, Cubot have recorded a hands on video of their $79.99 Cubot Note S to take a look at.

The Cubot Note S is the budget phone in the Cubot range with a low retail price of just $79.99. Even with the low price the Cubot team have built the phone around a magnesium alloy chassis, built-in 4150mAh battery and in this updated model given the phone 2GB RAM.

The same Mediatek Quad-core MT6580 chipset means no LTE, but there is dual SIM support, 16GB internal memory and the option to use an SD card.

Cubot have loaded the full specifications of the Cubot Note S up on their website here, and the phone is on sale now for $79.99.

    Y make a nice phone and put a shit like MT6580 in ghis..just hike price by $10 and put in at least modern

      Most likely it’s meant for developing markets where LTE is either non existent or very expensive.

    seeing those phones, mt6592 would have done an awesome job still today, this is a 6582 with 5.1 update.
