UMi Touch finally get’s a hands on video

After months of teasers and a presale, the UMi Touch finally hits the web in a hands on video.

UMi have certainly managed to keep the UMi Touch interesting over the past few months. The phone first turned up as a user defined Meizu wannabe, but has most recently been in the news after rumours told of a Windows 10 OS option would be available.

The video above is the first time we have seen the Touch in action and shows the near stock Android 6.0 ROM (shipping as standard), 5.5-inch display, and shows the physical home button design of the phone.

UMi are hoping that the Touch will be a huge selling device thanks to its premium design, all metal build, fingerprint scanner, 3GB RAM and 4000mAh battery. More details of the UMi touch can be found on the official UMi website.

Still a meizu clone with a underwhelming chip for the time it’s going to be launched

it looks like Meizu, but i don’t even care, it’s beatiful enough, and with front fingerprint scanner and 4000mAh battery, the price is reasonble!

This has the same SOC as meizu m2 note, but same price (150 usd~]. But you also get a better camera (most likely), metal build and front facing fingerprint scanner. And a front facing camera with flash as well.

Lol, the lower part of the front looks like ZUK Z1. It evens has the same problem with the uneven backlight brightness of the two capacitive buttons. Left dot is brighter than the right one.

Well if they’re not lying for the battery and the camera it has the potential to be a good phone. The bad is that they’ll rise the price to $180 after March 25.

In all honesty, it does look very good albeit being a Meizu clone.

From where does the fingerprint sensor come from? I have the recent UMI Hammer S with FPS, but rumors says it’s not from the Swedish FPC, Fingerprint Cards, but from Goodix?? Works 360° and 10/10 attemts. The software for fingerprint has to be restarted after some day of use, not that good… GPS sucks also. Still a great phone, durable and works fine for me. Camera ok.
