Xiaomi expands the Mi Ecosystem with the new 360-rotating home camera

Xiaomi already has a few home cameras meant for security, but the Chinese brand announced another one earlier today anyway.

The USP of this camera happens to be its 360-degree rotation, which means you aren’t restricted to just one field of view. Needless to say, the camera pairs up with your phone via an app, which you can later use to control the camera from wherever you may be.

The camera uses the Ambarella S2LM chip and features full 1080p recording. Infrared night vision and motion detection are a couple of features that this new camera supports.

As for the price, this new smart home camera is as affordable as any other Mi gadget out there… at just 399 Yuan ($61). Of course, availability is restricted to China at the moment.

This Mi Ecosystem (MiJia) device is scheduled to start shipping May 30th.
