On the 26th of this month
ZTE will be holding a
launch for the
Axon 7 in Beijing, but there could also be a release in the U.S on the same date too.
The Axon brand was designed by
ZTE to be their fashionable flagship brand that would allow the company to enter new markets, and they have with the Axon range being available in the U.S and most recently Spain.
The first new Axon
launch for 2016 will take place in just 9 days and is rumoured to be for the
ZTE Axon 7 smartphone. This device has already made an appearance at TENAA where specs were revealed to include a 5.5-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 20 mega-pixel main camera, and 3140mAh battery.
Images of the phone also show a fingerprint scanner, and front facing dual speaker design like previous Axon phones.
So with all the leaks happening in China what makes us think the phone will be available in the U.S too? Well a recent full page ad taken out by
ZTE thanking their “30 million waviest mobile users” and seems to show to top of the new
Axon 7. Visiting the U.S Axon website in the ad doesn’t bring up any new clues.
The
Axon 7 is going to be a top contending flagship and already there is talk that
ZTE are on to a winner this phone. Let’s see what’s launched later this month before we decide.
