Ulefone still working on the Android 6.0 update for Paris model

Ulefone has just released a video showing their Ulefone Paris model running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow build to underline that they are still actively working on the update. In the video we can see the phone controlled with a mouse connected via the OTG cable , because apparently the screen drivers are not finalized yet. So still some way to go, but seems like most of the Marshmallow functions are already there.

Gizchina News of the week

The update is already quite late, because originally it was announced to be coming in February or March and even though Ulefone developers have officially apologized for the delay it’s needed to be a bit sceptical about their new optimism. But let’s hope the update will hit the shelves pretty soon, because the fans are eagerly expecting it.

Take a look at the video to have at least some idea how the Marshmallow runs on the Ulefone Paris.

Buy NulleFone to get abandoned in few months. My GF’s Be Touch 2 is still on 5.0!!! Fake reported as 5.1. And the battery spec of 3000 mAh is also fake!

the betouch is the dark days of ulefone, there is evidence/facts of ulefone delivering multiple software over ota for the paris/power and vienna, ulefone is far from the best company but claiming youll get abandoned in a few months is a bit of a stretch with their recent results not impossible but they are more on the good side it seems lately

meh. all it takes them is to fix the fingerprint scanner battery drain of the Be Touch 2. But their engineers are too incompetent. Their firmwares are awful and if they would now have a better team they could simply fix the Be Touch 2 to make the phone usable.

I am using a custom CM12.1 mod and it works well, but I had to give up on the fingerprint reader. I bought the phone for the Battery, Front Fingerprint and Android 5.1 (and lets forget the promised alternative firmwares).

I am not surprised that the Paris will never get the promised Android 6.

from what im seeing thus far i dont see why you say the paris “will never get the promised android 6” ill come back to this comment say the latest august-september to see if they deliver and if it is done before ill will surely be back to tell you, not using my feelings.. objectively they already delivered 6.0 as promised before so its not crazy to think they can do it again

and if you think “all it takes” when it comes to these businesses you are mistaken politics within is far more complicated by your logic all phones out there that arent up to date and the fragmentation in general is just simply because of incompetent engineers

boy oh boy consumers “just get a better team” “just get a snap drgaon chipset” “its simple all they have to do is just drop the price”

Why would they do that? Kitkat is the best OS. My UMi eMax has Kitkat! best OS! You don’t NEED lollipop or marshmallow!
