Elephone P9000 Edge final specifications and real pictures

Mysteries about the upcoming Elephone P9000 Edge are going to be more or less cleared and explained today, because we have just received the official confirmation from Elephone themselves about the specifications of the device. We have even few of the first real pictures of the phone available for you and seems like the phone is going to hit the market very soon after all.

Gizchina News of the week

So what has been confirmed so far? For starters the 5,7-inch JDI display with 2K resolution and Mediatek Helio X25 processor inside. Furthermore full metal body with AAC technology speakers and dual main camera setup with ultra fast focus. Allegedly the P9000 Edge is going to be available in two versions, 4 GB RAM / 32 GB of storage and 6 GB RAM /128 GB of storage.

Elephone is apparently trying to play at the high stakes table and on paper the specs are looking pretty good. Question mark remains about the pricing, though the lower version is rumored to be around $250, which is not bad at all. We shall see how much the higher version is going to cost and most importantly when the phone is actually going to be released.

That might be the panel that they are using.
1400:1 contrast and 450 nits brightness, sounds decent.

The front and the back don’t work together. The glassy colorful futuristic front just doesn’t work with the trashcan look of the back.
They should at least add some color, sync the fingerprint glow color with the back or the frame (while keeping the back black).
Guess OPPO already moved in that direction, they realized that silver metal is starting to be the next plastic.

Guess OPPO already moved in that direction, they realized that silver metal is starting to be the next plastic so they added blue and red for the R9.

There is no point in getting those shitty brands when now the big players have taken over the budget market with amazing phones for really cheap prices.

Do you have one in mind? I know LeTV and Xiaomi offer great hardware for dirt cheap but that’s only for their older models. Do you know any big brand offering high end specs to the sub $200 segment?
