Not sure about the quality. Looks fine on Le 1 X600 for me.
Thanks Francis , the EUI is good ? No bugs , foce close…?
Andi, do you now anything about when the Le 2 with more LTE-bands will become availble for us outside India?
Letv lately sold thousand of Letv x800 , US version, but there is 0 support from them, you are not serious! Never buy again your products!
There isn’t an official US version yet according to LeMall.com. What kind of support are you looking for? Perhaps the community can help?
It looks like LeTV or parallel importer (I actually don’t care, as it’s a LeTV device!) started selling a device intended for US (it has FCC certification) all over the world, Europe included. Now the ROM it came with has no OTA support, has bugs (like YouTube app not working and un-upgradeable) and even if I can’t confirm that many users say it has malware baked in it, opening webpages and installing apps on its own! Moreover we don’t know if that has a working DAC or which LTE bands it supports.
Cherry on top it looks like it has a different revision (bootloader?), flashing a Chinese ROM onto an US model leads to hard brick and that’s why US devices have no Marshmallow/CM13 yet: luckily an unbrick package unofficially surfaced after one bricked month… Now they say they will fix the issue but we don’t know exactly how and when.
The official ROM is EUI. If your reseller flash a custom ROM over the device, I doubt you can get any form of official support. LeEco products are network-based. The most common ones are the multi-network devices. I am not based in China but upgraded both my Le 1 X600 and Le 1S X500 to EUI 5.8 / Android 6.0.
There is no official US version for any of the Letv/LeEco products. What you have gotten is basically a parallel import. LeEco is only preparing to enter the US market within the next 3 months.
