UMI London shows another drop test video

We have seen not that long ago a drop test video of the new UMI London featuring some falls from the heights simulating the usual falls from a table and such. But today we have something a bit more extreme and you can check out what would happen if you throw your UMI London our of the window 🙂

Gizchina News of the week

In the video we can see the phone in a protective casing being dropped from roughly 100 feet (31m) and while the display is clearly crushed from the fall, the phone itself seems to be working. So all the proclaimed sturdiness and rugged features of UMI London are maybe really more than just a marketing trick.

You can buy UMI London currently for about $60 for example here or you can try writing a testing review and get it for free. Details can be found here.

Well I dropped my Umi Emax on Friday and it landed screen down and cracked it. I thought it would still work (but look crap), but the touch-screen doesn’t work at all. Not happy.

Fake! The dropped position and the picked up position are different. The video has been edited. The phone has been switched.

Very interesting video. Umi london is the good smartphone, but for me Uhans A101 is better, it is very important that it works on a network 4G. And I doubt that Umi continued work after falling from this height.

Support 4G is very important, you are completely right. Uhans A101 – good smartphone.

4G it isn’t always good. 4G eats a lot of battery, and the battery 2450mAh isn’t enough for this function. Service 4G in my country very expensive. Uhans is a cheap smartphone. And if I buy it to the son to the teenager for $60, then I won’t pay such expensive 4G traffic.
