Fourth OTA firmware upgrade for Vernee Thor is out

Vernee Thor is with us for three months already and the company is showing some serious care about the model, fourth firmware OTA upgrade is out now.

That means on average we are getting a new Vernee Thor firmware roughly every month, which is certainly not a bad pace and the company is surely getting points for that. To win the customer loyalty and support, you have to show the care so we think Vernee are trying to do it right.

Gizchina News of the week

Let’s look at the fourth OTA upgrade in detail though. It should significantly improve the USB transfer speed, while making it also way more stable. The display touch response gets tweaked too and some other sensors get their sensitivity adjusted (not exactly clarified which ones though). Anyway looks like a beneficial update through and through so update away!

        Had the same problem.
There were others that had this with previous updates and a solution is known:

Remove the sdcard and try again, if don’t work again, try to clear cache partition (always without sdcard)
On recovery (shutdown Thor, boot with volume + and power, select recovery and valid with volume-, when you see no comand, push volume+ and power and choose clear cache partition and valid with power) – See more at: http://bbs.vernee.cc/thread-804-1-1.html#sthash.2PIYlHzA.dpuf
