Cubot working on a new 5-inch phone called Manito


According to today’s news Cubot are working on a new device, which should bear the name Manito and we have for you some unofficial specs, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Cubot Manito should have a 5-inch display, quad-core MT6737 processor supported by 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of storage expandable up to 256 GB. Rear camera will be a 13 Mpix one while the front one only 5 Mpix one. Battery will have quite underwhelming 2350 mAh capacity, phone will be a dual SIM one carrying Android 6.0 Marshmallow inside. Dimensions of Cubot Manot should be 144 x 72,8 x 8,95 mm and the phone will be offered in three color variants – black, white and gold. The phone should be officially released pretty soon, probably by the end of September at most and we are still waiting for more info about the pricing and rest of specs. So hold your horses and wait for next piece of info about it.

    I still remember my old cubot zorro…. 🙂

      That was a subsidized model by Qualcomm, and that’s the reason why they never released a software update for it.

    Cubot make nice and durable phones, if this is priced at 99$, would make a great buy.

    I’m wondering if the ever release S9… time is ticking and so many new interesting phones arrives day by day. It will be not worth to wait any longer soon Cubot – better speed things up.
