UMI Plus aiming for a fancy and aesthetic design

UMI Plus is already officially out for two days and we know all the details about it. The specifications are a bit of a letdown, because it’s yet another variation on the previously used formula and very similar to the older UMI Super and UMI Max models.

The phone is already available in the presales for quite an affordable price and UMI already started a giveway to boost the release hype. In the same mold is the released promo video showcasing some of the phones’s specs, but mainly the design. And design is exactly the area UMI claim they worked the most on, to get the device to not just look aestethical but also practical.

The chassis is made using an aluminum-magnesium alloy, which is called the magnalium and for hardening the alloy they added some traces of copper, nickle and tin. Thanks to that the shell of the device is lighter, harder and very smooth. Whole body of the UMI Plus should be designed for the optimal holding and comfortable experience.

UMI are quite sure this technology used in the UMI Plus creation is a unique stepping stone in their portfolio, which makes the phone special. UMI Plus is currently available here for the price $179.99.
