Official: OnePlus 3T with SD821 coming 15th November

OnePlus 3 Review

It hasn’t been too long since the OnePlus 3 came out, but a bit of an upgrade it already around the corner. GizChina loyals will know this one as the OnePlus 3T, that’s been trending on the GizChina homepage a fair bit.

Well, news is that the OnePlus 3T will officially launch on the 15th of November. Where does this come from? Right from OnePlus themselves, via their Twitter handle.

Gizchina News of the week

The OnePlus 3T is expected to be pretty much the OnePlus 3 but with the updated new SoC. The OnePlus 3 according to many (including me) is one of the best sub-$500 phones of this year, and this refresh should extend the lifespan of the phone by a good few months… at the cost of some enraged OnePlus 3 buyers, but I guess that’s a part of how it all works.

You can still expect a 5.5-inch screen (oh yes, AMOLED), 6GB RAM and the other good stuff you saw on the OnePlus 3. If you don’t remember too much, you can refer to our review of the OnePlus 3.

I just ordered the 128GB/6GB Mi 5s Plus for the same amount I paid for the OP3. So I am fine with the initial OP3 version and don’t need an upgrade for an additional 80€. 😉

The new 821 may cause heating and charging issues, also have to pay more, better be happy with the 820 version…
