Asus Z01HDA passes through the TENAA website

A couple of days ago, we questioned what Asus would show off at their Zennovation event this year. Today, we may have just found out they have in store for us when the event comes around. AndĀ while it’s nothing extravagant, it does seem like it could be interesting.

The new device is registered as the Asus Z01HDA (it’s actually the Zenfone 3 Zoom and powering it is a mild Snapdragon 625 chipset. Backing that are either 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage. The rear camera is obviously a dual camera, but it’s listed as a 16MP camera for some reason. The Bluetooth SIG listing lists the camera as a 12+13MP camera, so we’ll go with that.

Gizchina News of the week

The display is a 5.5-inch 1080p display, and above that there’s a 13MP front facing camera. The back also holds a fingerprint sensor, as well as the Asus logo. Under that metal back panel is a pretty large 4850mAh battery.

The device’s dimensions will beĀ 154.3Ɨ77Ɨ7.99mm, and it weighs in at 170g. It comes in three colors, those beingĀ Navy Black, New Crafts Silver and Luxury Gold. It’ll run on Android Marshmallow, probably with ZenUI on top.

Huge battery, SD 625 and likely a decent camera? I’m interested. Expecting pricing to be a disappointment though.

77mm width OMG this is way too large for my normal hands…moreover ASUS will charge a lot of money for it

It is larger than I prefer, butni think pricing is the biggest issue. It likely won’t be cheap.

On another note, 11 hours off charger, just over one hour SOT, and 90% battery left on the Redmi 4 prime.
