Cubot just released a YouTubeĀ video of the unboxing and initial setup of their latest Cubot V2 smart band. They also show you how to use it & some different features. Let’s have a look, shall we?
As with almost every product on the market nowadays, the initial setup is pretty straight forward. First of all get the smart band out of the box and charge it; step two, download and install the app through scanning the QR code you find in the manual (you can use an app like Goggles from Google).
After installing the app, dial in all your info such as sex, weight, height, age etc.. Done that, get into the Settings -> Device Management -> Binding Management -> Search Device. The Cubot V2 smart band will now connect to your smartphone.

On the smart band you can setĀ a specific heart rate number and it will notify you when you get over that amount. You can also configure different reminders and notifications for calls or texts received. It’s then possible to use the Cubot V2 as a remote controller for the camera or make it vibrate if it gets too far from your smartphone.
