HTC is getting ready to unveil their true flagship model of the year and all incoming rumors tend to agree on this: HTC U will be the one device to have our eyes locked onto, for so many reasons.

Recent leaks insist that the device will boast a 5.5-inch display carrying a 1440 x 2560 resolution, along with a powerful Snapdragon 835 SoC inside and the Adreno 540 GPU. HTC’s Sense 9 UI will surely be on board and the handset will come with 64GB and 128GB of expandable native storage, along with a 12MP main camera and a 16MP selfie shooter at the front of the unit.

Today’s render comes from Slashleaks, and surely confirms most of the rumors so far. bezel-less design, sleek appearance, dual speakers on the bottom of the device, along with a Type-C USB port between them. There is no info on where the fingerprint sensor, or on/off button, volume rocker will be placed, but we will surely find out in the coming days.

The HTC U flagship model is expected to be unveiled sometime during the early days of May, so expect the number of leaks to increase over the next few weeks.
