Zenfone 3 Max gets update with optimizations for camera, fingerprint scanner


Asus has a good record for the after sales support it offers especially to their smartphone lineup so today’s update for the Zenfone 3 Max model (ZC520TL) comes as no surprise. According to its changelog the update comes under version no.Ā 13.1.0.56 and offers several improvements including a new application and other tweaks.

More specifically the latest update now installs a new Power Master application that – according to Asus: “offers excell battery performance”. Along with this new app, Zenfone 3 Max owners will see some fingerprint sensor and camera related improvements, not to mention the improved touch panel response time.

There are also new LED notification effects during charging and Italian customers will be happy to know that theĀ “the customer service call issue” has been resolved. As always if you own the device you can wait until the update hits your Zenfone, or manually check underĀ Settings > About device > Software update.
