Xiaomi is all set to open up its Mi 6 flash sale in China. The Mi 6 will be available in only the bright black version in this sale. Priced at 2499 Yuan for the 64GB variant and 2999 Yuan for the 128GB variant, the Mi 6 is the latest offering in the line of Mi phones. Not only this, Xiaomi has given consumers the right incentive to buy the Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus.
Ahead of the launch Mi 6 launch scheduled for tomorrow, the 28th of April, Xiaomi has slashed the prices of the Mi 5S and the Mi 5S Plus. The Mi 5S is now available for 1849 Yuan instead of 1999 Yuan while the Mi 5S Plus 4GB/64GB variant is available for 2149 Yuan instead of 2299 Yuan and the 6GB/128GB variant is priced at 2449 Yuan. Each of these smartphones have received a 150 Yuan price cut.

The sale will only last for tomorrow, the same day when the Mi 6 goes on sale. From what reports say, Xiaomi has only 80,000 units of the Mi 6 that are going to go on sale tomorrow whereas the online registrations have exceeded 1 million users.
This might be a good strategy considering the fact that the Mi devices on sale are very capable and have good value for money. Even the Mi Mix and Mi Note 2 will be available for sale. Xiaomi is definitely using the Mi 6 sale to sell of its other smartphones. And why not, if you can’t get a hands on the Mi6, might just settle for another Mi phone!
