New iPhone 8 dummy unit appears, looks interesting

@OnLeaks has done it again and recently posted – through his Twitter account- two photos of the first iPhone 8 dummy unit – that surely looks like the real thing in our opinion.

The images show a dummy in compliance with all the latest rumors and information so far, full with its bezel less display, glass cover everywhere, no sign of a Home button and curved corners. Note that current information suggests that the next iPhone model will be equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded just below the display panel, so there’s no need for a TouchID sensor and a Home button.

Gizchina News of the week

The iPhone 8 dummy gives us a good look of the dual camera of the device on its back, but the top left corner, is taken up by the considerably large camera bump – similar to the one the iPhone 7 Plus has. Oh, and given that the dual-camera configuration here is larger than the one in the 7 Plus, the overall impression is that of a heavier-looking rear panel.

On the side of the dummy we can also find the familiar volume buttons and mute switch, but there’s nothing more to see I guess. In any case, we’ve got more than 3 months to come until the device’s expected unveiling date so there’s a lot of time to wait and… watch rumors passing by.
